Erica Tey | Young Learners #2

I am Erica Tey from Young Learners #2. I started on the path as an Early Childhood Educator in 2013. I am an enthusiastic, energetic outgoing cheerful person, I always find fun and enjoy being with children, friends and family.

I feel rewarded working with children, it is wonderful to watch children progress; it makes me feel like a part of the children’s extended family.

Children are pure, fun, hilarious and enjoy the process of learning. My goal is to provide opportunities for children to explore, to discover, to be creative with imagination through physical, social/emotional, cognitive and communication engagement.

I strongly believe in cultural diversity. Each child is unique with different interest, backgrounds and developmental stages.

Being a Malaysian Chinese from Penang, I love to explore different cultural experiences, street foods, travelling and trying various sport activities.
