Penelope Keramitsis | Early Learners

Hi, my name is Penelope Keramitsis and I am the Team Leader in the Early Learners Room! I work fulltime.

I’m a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated educator. I have worked in the early learning years’ sector for over 7 years and am currently studying my degree in Primary Teaching.

My passions include encouraging children with creative expression, science and mathematics. I believe all children are the protagonists of their learning and are knowledgeable and unique.

I aim to create a place where children feel loved and important. I believe that children are influenced and are affected by their environments, so I am committed to having high expectations for every child’s learning where they can develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically.

My background is of Greek heritage which has instilled a deep love for food and cooking, I live with my family in Templestowe and am the eldest of three. I am a fanatical Richmond supporter and on the weekends, I enjoy going to the footy with my family and friends.

I love to travel and explore new cultures; my next travel destination is Mexico! I am also an avid reader and have an extensive collection of shoes and handbags.
