Hannah Lasota

Our family joined GECC several years ago and we are so grateful for the exceptional care and nurturing provided to our daughter, Alexandra, at the centre.

I joined the Committee in order to gain a greater insight into how the centre is run in the background, the issues it faces and to contribute and support the management and staff, where possible, as our children will spend so much time and learn so much at the centre.

The things which make GECC stand out to me compared to other centres we have experienced is the absolute dedication of the staff, the consistency of staffing in the rooms, the passion the educators clearly have, the strong focus on policy and safety, outdoor play, diversity and continual improvement. Being on the Committee has only strengthened my belief in these values being lived and breathed every day at GECC.

I work as a lawyer and my husband works as an IT consultant, and we hope we are able to utilise these skills to benefit GECC. Outside work, I love family outings, growing organic veggies and cooking.
