Our 0 - 3 aged Rooms
Nurturing Young Minds from the Very Beginning
At Greythorn, we take immense pride in supporting young children during their earliest years of growth and development. Our dedicated facility features three specialised rooms designed to cater to the unique needs of children aged from 6 weeks to 3 years.
Younger Learners 1 Room (YL1)
For infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months, our YL1 Room offers a cozy, nurturing space where a small group of up to 8 children a day receive personalised care from two dedicated educators. This warm, loving environment supports your baby’s early milestones and builds a strong foundation for future development.
Young Learners 2 Room (YL2)
As your child transitions to the toddler stage, our YL2 Room has children aged from 18 months up to 2.5 years. They step into a stimulating and engaging world with three attentive educators guiding a group of 12 children a day. Children explore new skills, develop friendships, and enjoy play-based learning activities designed to spark curiosity and foster independence.
Early Learners Room (EL)
For children aged 2 to 3.5 years, the EL Room offers a vibrant, hands-on learning environment. Our educators encourage exploration, creativity, and social-emotional growth through carefully planned activities. Here, your child’s love for learning will blossom as they prepare for the next stage of their journey.
Having 3 dedicated classrooms for children under the age of three creates a unique community culture that fosters strong bonds among children and educators. The shared yard across the three classrooms encourages a sense of community, enabling children to interact with peers from different classrooms, enhancing their social development.
As children grow, they become familiar with all educators across the three classrooms, promoting a seamless transition and continuous relationships. Educators collaborate closely, sharing insights and strategies to support each child's individual needs, ensuring a consistent and nurturing environment. The communal yard provides diverse opportunities for play and exploration, contributing to the holistic development of each child.
By creating an environment where children and educators from different classrooms interact regularly, we ensure that every child feels secure, supported, and part of a larger community from the very start of their educational journey.
