Shou Feng

Hi, my name is Shou Feng Xue, which is a Chinese name, my colleagues like to call me Shou instead, and I like it. I finished Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care in 2018. I started as a student in Greythorn Early Childhood Centre, then I have the opportunity to be one of the team workers in GECC. So I am currently working part time in Occasional Care Room.

My dream is to be a teacher, so I am really enjoying being an educator. Working with children is a wonderful thing in the world. Children are curious and creative; they never stop explore the world around them. As an educator, I can learn from them. At the same time, I can support them to be happy and confident., which is an amazing thing. I like to share joyful moment with children and value every small progress they made. When every time they come to me and call my name, I feel so proud of myself. I know I am doing the right thing; I love being an educator or a little friend of children.

In spare time, the most enjoyable things are riding bikes and playing Mario game with my family. I also like gardening; I have a small veggie patch in my back yard. My lovely friends always give me advices about planting veggies. I also like making desserts, even I am not good at that, but I still like to try and watch video on YouTube.
